No fires locally.

Blackberries and related have set lots of green berries.  Small green apples on roadside trees.  All does seen with only 1 fawn.  Deer population is down which is not all bad.  Songbirds have young out of the nest and singing atypical songs. toad on the deck every night, garter snakes in yard. Lots of small grasshoppers fields and lawns.  Crickets not loud yet.  Deer flies and mosquitos bearable but annoying.  Milkweed patch has many monarchs.

Heavy tourist traffic- out of state plates.  Logging as usual.  Home building related traffic very heavy.

Tomatoes ripening.  Peas close to harvest.

A few days where air-conditioning was widely used in homes that have it.  Only a fan is needed here with afternoon lake breeze.  Greenhouse fan has run quite a bit too.  Today very smokey.
