Fortunately we had rain but in this part of Wake County the early showers did not reach us. The top layer of soil is moist but only less than an inch. Established plants are suffering. The plants in the corn field are less than 3" tall, should be shoulder or head high by now. My vegetable garden is not producing even with hand watering. It's sad!!!!
