We had a very dry and warm winter and spring. There was some rain last month, but not enough to make up for the missing. Even cacti are only putting out a few if any blooms. Grasses grew after the bit of rain but are looking brown. Nearby habitat for Sandia Pueblo’s bison herd is in bad shape.
