What a difference a week makes. So far, we have received almost all of the rain we normally receive in this month. All of it fell this past week (plus a day). The grass that did not die appears very healthy and is growing to the point our lawn mower is having a more difficult time in mowing our lawn. The Forsythia bush leaves indicate ample ground water content.
A number of tree and bush limbs have noticeably grown. They will have to be pruned back. Between the water, warmth, and sunshine, our vegetation appears very healthy.
We appear to have a number of Hummingbirds feeding at our feeders. There have not been any sightings of new species.
