The drought continues and is getting worse. Since summer started (June 1st) this station is down about 8 inches below normal. June had 2 inches of rain and so far the first 13 days of July only 0.09 inches. Normals are roughly 7 to 8 inches each month. Non irrigated areas are tinder dry. Thunderstorms have come close several times but never reached this station.
