For the week ending 7/12/2026, conditions were NEAR NORMAL. Temps ranged from 85 F (on the 8th & 9th) to 61 F (on the 8th), with average Hi/Lo temps of 83/66 F (-5/-8 relative to last week). Precipitation Trends—July to Date: 1.94 inches (up 0.49 inches, 134% of PRISM Normal); Year to Date (2026): 29.59 inches (up 8.64 inches, 141% of PRISM Normal). The week saw a welcome return to more normal temperatures. The lack of meaningful rain this week has not yet produced a noticeable effect on vegetation. The grass in the yard has continued to grow like crazy. Crescent Lake has not yet returned to its normal level, thus blocking access to our dock. We had a rare daytime sighting of a Coyote in the backyard this week.
