With the rain we received during the previous 2 days, soil conditions are almost back to normal conditions for this time period in the summer. Grasses and vegetation welcomed the rain events this week and are more lush now. Trees and bushes are still replacing leaves and sprouting/growing their seeds. Birds have been typically active in search of food and water. Small mammals have also been very active in search of food. Larger mammals, such as deer, have been seen more often during the day, especially in the morning hours.
