Rainfalls:  This week 1.98”, last week 0.48”.
Precipitation for the week came predominantly from short-lived squalls. By midweek, the grounds were mostly saturated with additional rains ending as runoff or into the creek. The rains from Saturday afternoon turned Chippewa Creek into whitewater. I was only able to mow the lawns 2 days midweek when we got no rain. The slider scale moved to moderately wet from near normal. The potatoes and tomatoes in the vegetable garden are doing very well with the week’s pattern of rain and sunny skies. The garden and planted flowers didn't need additional watering all week.
