One rain this week totaling 1.11" brings the monthly total to 1.30". About 80% of normal for this day of the month. Plenty of sun with some hot days and average summer days.  Lawn is still green and growing and the garden is doing well with first summer squash and beans only a few days from first picking. No major watering yet but a few more hot sunny days without rain and I will break out the sprinkler. Birds are noisy in early morning but quieter with the heat. Still stop at the bird bath often.
