We received 2.37" of rain in the first 8 days of July which was slightly more then we received in the entire month of June. The parched soil soaked it right up and is already looking dry again. Grass perked up some but there's still lots of brown areas. With another heat wave approaching and no rain in the 7 day forecast we'll soon be draining the rain barrels again. Fire danger is low.
