Heavy rains have kept the area wet with ponding visible in the fields. Plant growth is above average for this time of year and the area is still very green. High temperatures have been near average but low temps have been above average. The flow rate of the Llano River has been highly variable due to runoff. The USGS reports that it is flowing at 90 cfs at Hwy 87 vs the 53-year median of 104 cfs. There are no burn bans in effect.
