For the week 7/5 - 7/11 2026 ----- EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES at Data collection: Aurora: 56, 55, 62, 67, 74, 55, 63 & Kingsford : 58, 54, 60, 68, 63, 59, 61 ----- WATER CONTENT IN THE GAUGE: AURORA - T, 0, 0, T, .89, 0, 0 Total= .89" KINGSFORD - T, 0, 0, T, .88, 0, 0 Total= .88" ----- SNOWFALL- Aurora and Kingsford : nothing no snow -----MENOMINEE RIVER: Water levels all week at the normal summer water flow height ----- US DROUGHT MONITOR: has 1/3 of SW Florence County as Abnormally dry but here it is normal and all of Dickinson County MI as normal-----WILDFIRE RISK: Aurora and most of Wisconsin in the low category & Kingsford and central counties are in the medium category and high in the eastern U.P.----- Energy - Been running the AC during the day but windows open at night -----Plants are doing well. Red Maple leaves started turning red the last week of June and the daisies have come and are now shriveling up. Grass is fully green with no "hot spots". Plants overall are doing well----- Campers were of low sighting early in the week but Friday was busiest all summer in one day as they headed west for the Hodag Country Music Festival. Campers of all sizes were heading that way. Otherwise it was loggers, LTL trucks, general local contractors and saw 1 farm tractor and also a line of ATV's headed to the trails--- High Temps in the mid 80's this week in the afternoon has people out early in the morning to fish or enjoy the water ----- That's all I have for this week, enjoy your weekend for those who actually read these
