.12” for the week from a stray shower. Lots of close by scattered thunderstorms in the area but none at my location. High heat warnings have been the norm and I’m watering the plants early and late. Birds are watching the water evaporating out of the bird baths so they are quick to wash as soon as I fill them. Ponds are down about a foot now with the dry conditions. The resident heat dome from Mother Nature has sure kept things interesting as you have to pick your times to get out to do things. Hopefully this will abate and we’ll see some more weather conditions that are typical for us at this time of the year. Really has been the “dog days “ of summer for sure.
