Description:
This week’s precipitation is 0.68 inches. I was able to drive around the county of Kenosha, Wisconsin, to see what was growing. The fields are green with crops. Corn fields are taller than knee high. The cabbage has a bluish-green tinge in straight rows for as far as the eye can see, and finally, soy beans are a forest green.
My favorite field was not plowed this spring. I am hoping the farmer is giving it a rest and is not readying it for selling.

The neighborhood’s flower gardens are in full bloom with hollyhocks, Monarda, lamb’s ear, daisies, cosmos, Joe Pye weed, and evergreens, and a variety of flowering shrubs.
Looking fresh.

An unusal accurance happen after a heavy downpour. A female mallaard duck laid one egg under our locust tree. She wandered around our yard, eating what pleased her as she tended to her egg.

The Des Plaines River is full to its bank while the river grass has grown to the bottom of the bird house.
