Farm fields are hard enough to drive on. The first planted corn crops have tasselled out at nearly 8 feet tall. The balance of the Corn Crops are well above the 4-foot-tall level and growing fast. The rest of the early crops are doing well; the last-planted beans have been overwatered with standing water in the fields and are not producing. No wildfires will be supported by natural vegetation. Creeks and streams are running deep, with the ponds and lakes overly full.
