Soil conditions are starting to show evidence of drying out. In the previous 3 days this week, dew was light to non-existent. Vegetation and grasses are very green though growth is starting to slow. Birds have been active in the early morning or in the evening searching for food. Temperatures this past week reached the mid to high 90s which kept daytime activity limited. Small mammals also followed a similar pattern. Mammals such as possums, rabbits and foxes have also followed similar patterns.
