The heat of summer has arrived.  Very high humidity and hot with heat indexes over 100 daily. For the month of June we received 6.51" of rain, which is 1.48 above normal. For the months of April and May, we received 7.7 and 5.39" respectively, so for the three month (Apr-Jun) period we were 5.45" above normal. Ponds and creeks looking good.  There may be a transition to dry conditions but time will tell. Winter wheat is still not harvested due to wet field conditions. Everything is green and lush going into the hot months of summer.
