Every day the Heat Index was at and above 100 degrees F for many hours. Several days were very windy which was helpful when doing yard work. Ground soil is drying out and cracks are starting to show. Area ponds are full though. No supplemental watering of gardens or containers but I suspect I will need to water container plants in the next couple days. Yard mowing is still on an every two week schedule and could probably be done even sooner. Everything is green and healthy and blooming. No change in wildlife activity - still active.
