Second week of cold and dry week. The soil moisture is in the normal range at  4” and dried out considerably at the 8” depth.

Lawns are green and back to weekly mowing schedule. Day lilies are in bloom and summer hibiscus continuing to grow. 

Bird activity has shifted quite a bit with a few to no Starlings, and few Robins. Sparrows and doves are most frequent. Squirrels, chipmunks and rabbits are out and feeding on grass and seed overspill from bird feeder.
