Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: IA-LN-49
Station Name: Cedar Rapids 2.1 NW
Report Date: 6/28/2026
Submitted: 6/28/2026 11:43 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
8.20 of precip received as of date of this report. D0 remains. Full mowing required, some patches of grass were looking a little brown. Not sure if that is because of the increase of bird nesting, squirrels running amuck, or ground squirrels. Slight increase of ticks observed and other insects. Ants might be trying for another invasion again this summer. ACs and Fans required. Today the floor started getting that sticky feeling like someone spilled sugar pop all over with no clean up. Also, a couple of the screen doors have been acting off as this heat hole event has been coming in. Overall Mood-Main focus this weekend is the very dangerous heat that will be affecting most of the State of Iowa for the next couple of days. Be Summer Aware All : ) : )
