Rain for the week at this location was 0.53 in. & a trace. Put up a new gauge Wednesday of this week at 2938 reports. Haven't gotten  enough rain since to put anything in it. Unless something untold happens to it, it will probably outlast me. The 120 acres around me got a new owner last year and they did massive tile addition and removed a huge number of rocks to add to the existing rock pile on the property. It is now a fairly large green mountain. I have seen the same result in another rock pile from a tile project in the hood from last fall. The corn has really jumped in the past week. It is still evident of spots of different heights in fields for some reason. There was spot spraying of weeds done in fields early this week before the corn got to shoulder high in a lot of places. Crops are looking good. Grass has slowed down a bit. There is rain to the West of this location . Don't know if it will get to here. High temps for the first of the week forecast.
