With a total of " observed precipitation in the past week, conditions at this station appear to be near normal. Soil squeezed in the hand holds together and supplemental watering has been less urgent. Garden plants are thriving with the rainfall and warm temperatures. Sunflowers will bloom soon, and bee balm is just about to open. Though there is bee activity, it is noticeably less than in past years. Birds and other wildlife are active and well, keeping their normal schedules with sufficient rain.
