Station Name: Plainwell 0.5 WSW
Report Date: 6/28/2026
Submitted: 6/28/2026 9:13 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
Our conditions this past week were very similar to the week before where we have been somewhere between Mildly Wet and Near Normal with 0.79" of rain falling over 2 days. Temperatures and dew points have continued to be very pleasant and a little below seasonal average for this time of year with daily highs going into the low 70's(F). So far this year we have not been plagued with the hazardous wildfire smoke that has polluted our atmosphere the past few summers. Lightning bugs are flashing after dark, and mosquitoes in town are present, but tolerable. Lawns are green, lush and growing rapidly. Moles have been unusually active burrowing through the lawns. As of 6/28/2026, our total monthly precipitation for this June has been 5.54", which is 1.91" higher than the PRISM monthly average.
