very light rain the past two days, not amounting to much (.46") and not easing the long term severely dry conditions I reported last week. For example, it is still dry under the trees. It's hard to know what to call it--I'll call it mildly dry for now, even though at the moment it looks like normal June weather. We are still at about 50% of normal for May and June, which historically are the two wettest months here. Until a couple days ago, temps were well above normal. Streamflows are below normal and only coming up a little from this storm. Unwatered grass has turned brown--maybe it will green back up?
