Soil conditions are damp, but not saturated. We have had light rain showers throughout the past week. Trees and bushes are leafing out more while vegetation and grasses are growing quite well. Birds continue to be very active with nest repairs and searching for food. Small mammals are everywhere, with their focus on searching for seeds. Some species of birds that spend the summer here are very sporadic in visibility. Medium sized mammals such as skunks and possums have been very active and more visible.
