Much drier week than the two weeks prior.  The month of June will end with a surplus in all NOAA Norm To-Date categories.  MTD should end with over three inches of surplus for a monthly total of over eight inches of rain.  US Drought Monitor moved this station location from Abnormally Dry to No Drought Conditions this past week.  All crops and vegetation are doing well with corn greater than waist high in most fields.  I have seen a couple fields over head high.  All area rivers are in bank.  Starting the week off with Extreme Heat Warning with a chance of severe storms this afternoon.  The high heat and humidity is supposed to last most of the week so we will see how soil conditions hold.  I expect that I will be watering the garden in a day or so.
