General: I've moved us to moderately dry, since we're almost up to expected levels for June. We're still low for the water year. We've had some rain the last two days, which has been a tremendous relief.
Agriculture: The mustard and wheat (oats?) crops of our neighbors are looking good. The recent rain has really helped.
Energy: Still in the strong solar production stage. Even with rain and clouds yesterday we produced 38.97 kWHR and only used 13.94 kWHR. We've had to use the AC some recently, but are using the heater this morning (!).
Fire: Risk is high, based on the Fourth of July. For some reason the County hasn't banned fireworks this year despite the severe drought.
Plants/animals: We're still seeing and hearing many birds, and occasionally a snake. Finally saw a squirrel this week (they're pretty rare here because of all the predators). Almost no ants, flies, beetles, yellow-jackets, bees, which is very distressing. We should be overwhelmed by yellow-jackets by now.
Water: Again, we're way low for the year.
