Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: NH-MR-9
Station Name: Concord 3.8 SSE
Report Date: 6/28/2026
Submitted: 6/28/2026 7:27 AM
Scale Bar: Near Normal
Description:
We have had more rain this month than usual but are still over 1” below normal for the year. We had over 1” of rain yesterday, yet our grass is dry. The rain we get knocks stalks of plants and flowers over. But most plants are doing well. Agriculture in our yard is good. Chives, rhubarb, and two onion plants are thriving nicely. No idea about the agriculture in our state since we haven’t been near any farms. Energy. Have just used fans occasionally to keep cool. No need for air conditioners this past week. Any fires (of which I know nothing about) would have been drowned out by the heavy rains this past week all over the state. Plants and animals. As stated for plants already noted. We have 3 hummingbird feeders with generally 2 males that frequent them. The can’t seem to share and fight for whichever one one is at. Occasional chipmunk. Put sunflower seeds out for a Grosbeak pair a few days ago but a chipmunk got into it, so emptied out the feeders. No water restrictions. Merrimack River fluctuates mildly with the water from the flooding rivers up north. The past weekends have seen lots of vehicles heading north. This coming weekend should be spectacular with all the celebrations.
