This has been a particularly wet month with over 12.6" of precipitation. Flooding has been common although not severe at this location,  The fields are started and too wet for harvest and the wheat will be sprouting in the heads. lots of small animals and deer are very active. Fire danger is low.  Hard winds have caused damage because the ground is saturated and trees are easily uprooted. Shoal creek is running full to the flood stage and there has been some brief road closings. Creeks and rivers are dangerous and several drownings have occurred in the area.
