"Late June baseline: Local vegetation is lush and full following standard spring precipitation. Deciduous trees have full canopies with no signs of heat or drought stress. Lawns are growing actively and requiring weekly mowing. Topsoil is dry to the touch on the surface, but holds dark moisture ~2 inches down. Local creeks/retention ponds are at typical mid-summer levels. No municipal water restrictions in place."
