Corn and soybeans are progressing well. The 1/2" rain received a few days ago was welcome by the farmers. Corn has doubled in height and soybeans are beginning to canopy.
Veg. Gardens are doing well without additional watering. Picked first zucchini this week. Second cutting for hay will be next week. Mowing grass on weekly basis. Some perennials seem to be a little ahead of schedule. With Lower nightly temps and 70s during the day time, for the passed week have allowed us to keep windows open and we have not used the heat pump for heat nor cooling.
