Monsoon moisture was around most of the week with three days of measurable rain but just barely. A total of .05 inches of rain for the week. Drier at the end of the week with fire weather conditions returning. Smell of smoke one evening from one of the fires burning but not sure which one and they aren't close by. It was windy at times with thunderstorms around and at the end of the week with the return of drier conditions. It was a warm week with highs in the 80's except one day with a high of 92° on Tuesday which is the warmest temperature of the year, so far. Lows ranged from a low of 48° on Saturday to 65° on Thursday. The surrounding areas still have some wildflowers blooming but grasses are brown. The first bean in the vegetable garden has sprouted and plants in the garden are looking well. Saw a couple of deer across the street grazing. Also, saw garter snakes and birds but less birds than of recent weeks.
