It's been 11 days without precip, and only 0.5" for the month of June, historically one of the two wettest months here--the other is May which was also well below normal. No precip in the forecast this coming week, but very hot temps predicted 15+ degrees above normal. High temps this past week were consistently about 10 degrees above normal. Everything--garden and grass--needs frequent watering. Streamflows declining as the last of the high elevation snowpack melts off. It's more like late July than late June, so going with severely dry.
