General awareness: We're dry. There's still a patch of snow at the Pebble Creek ski area, but it's going fast. It usually makes it to mid-August, but I doubt if it will make it to July.
Agriculture: The mustard crop looks good. We had a trace of rain and cool yesterday, and it liked that a lot. The dryland wheat also looks good.
Energy: High energy production time: yesterday we produced over 65 kWHR, and used only 18.24 kWHR. We've had to run the AC a couple of times, but with this level of production it's clearly not an issue.
Fire: Danger is high. There have been a couple of small fires, blessedly extinguished.
Plants/wildlife: Birds are singing full-tilt! We have a deer who has taken up residence on the property, which is delightful. The creek is still slightly running, and our springs are still running. Birds and wildlife still have those sources for water, and the Rapid Creek still has water.
Water: We're low. We expect .37" in June, and have .25 at this point. This is on top of already low totals from very reduced snowpack in the winter.
