My station received 0.39 precipitation for the week, which helped stop the drive towards moderately dry conditions. However, there were higher precipitations nearby, as I received only the edges of some great thunderstorms activity. I raced on the Connecticut River [2 miles from my station] yesterday, and the river was up and muddy, so there was healthy runoff north of Springfield, MA. Our temperatures also moderate back to pleasant from sweltering of the previous week, which helped stop the wilting of the plants. Outdoor plants still needed some h2o assistance.
