Description:
Moderately dry – .40 of rain this week. Dry conditions persisted since last significant rain on 5/26. Before that last significant rain was 5/10. 

	Low seasonable temperatures this week. Gardens require watering. Prior hot conditions and dry weather caused delayed bean growth. Lawns dry with bi-weekly mowings because areas in tree driplines and shadows still green. Vegetable farmers tilling, planting and harvesting. Crop corn growing well. Great weather for farmers to make hay. Mill Road Pond algae in abundance and early. Fire retention pond near normal.

	NYC Reservoirs near normal at 93.9% of capacity compared to normal of 98.4%. Drier conditions reflected in lowered inventory of water. Consumption is seasonable at 1.04 billion gallons for the week.
