We received 1.51 inches of rain this week and our creeks, ponds, and streams are normal. All our precipitation numbers are within normal range. Soil in the garden and fields are still heavy from Thursdays rain. Gardens and field crops are growing, first garden producing great. Hay production is down about 30% this spring. Grass and lawns growing with pasture looking good, hay fields recovering, and lawn needing to be mowed twice a week (not getting mowed but once a week). Blueberries producing lots, blackberries beginning to ripen, and the orchard looks good. Calves growing and plenty of wildlife. Nothing suffering from lack of rainfall here. We are truly blessed.
