One inch of rain this past week has helped green up lawns and get crops growing. Severe storms with hail and strong winds have passed through the neighboring towns and counties, though have not affected this observation area.
The US drought monitor has not reported any changes in the conditions for the county. The spring season still is several inches below normal for rain. Boaters are still reporting low river levels.
