For the week 6/14 - 6/20 2026 ----- EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES at Data collection: Aurora: 54, 42, 50, 46, 52, 50, 53 & Kingsford : 52, 42, 49, 45, 51, 50, 51 ----- WATER CONTENT IN THE GAUGE: AURORA - T, T, 0, .02, .30, .01, T Total= .33 KINGSFORD - T,.01, 0, .02, .28, .01, T Total= .32 ----- SNOWFALL- Aurora and Kingsford : nothing no snow -----MENOMINEE RIVER: Water levels all week at the normal summer water flow height ----- US DROUGHT MONITOR has changed again this week and has a lot of WI in Slight Drought. pretty much the middle to northern counties and southwest corner are okay but the rest abnormally dry. UP of Michigan are in Normal Range (less the west tip of the Yoop and Menominee County) -----NATURAL WILDFIRE RISK: WISCONSIN- low to medium --- UPPER MICHIGAN risk is a mix in the Yoop too with low to medium risk ----- PLANTS: Flowering Plants drying up even watering them in the evening that were in the midday and afternoon sun but mostly shaded, the same plants thriving. Daisies are in full bloom and raspberry plants are coming along and I have more growing. No hot spots, grass is green ----- WILDLIFE: Deer have shed their winter coats, plenty of different bird species flying around and had a sand crane fly over my pontoon boat yesterday and another one on shore by the hydraulics dam too. Ducks moved east on the river and geese more towards the airport and grade school -----BUSINESS & INDUSTRY farm tractors or farm machinery this week maybe 2 going field to field using County Highway N. Logging trucks still moving wood and construction and HVAC and power company still busy ----TOURISM is starting as more RVs are driving passed but only spotted 2 again this week using this highway. Boats this week have slowed down in passing by and I have seen very few using the river to fish.
