Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: IL-KK-39
Station Name: Herscher 3.3 E
Report Date: 6/16/2026
Submitted: 6/15/2026 9:11 PM
Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
We got 2.24 inches of rain since the last report 7 days ago but that was the least amount of rain reported near our area during that period. The ground soaked that up pretty quickly and is asking for more. The soil looks dry and has lots of small cracks in bare dirt. Grass in my yard still not growing much but the weeds are. The Horse Creek tributary at 9000W Rd (1/4 miles south) is about 10-15% full and flowing, the 15 inch drainage line at that location is flowing about 15% full, a bit more than it was a week ago. Our basement sump still not flowing at all. Corn across the road east of us is now 25-35 inches tall, grew about 10-15 inches in 7 days, 1.4-2.1 inches per day. Corn on our south side now 24-32 inches tall, grew about 9-11 inches in 7 days, 1.3-1.6 inches per day. Soybeans on our west side now 6-11 inches tall, grew 3-5 inches in 7 days, 0.4-0.7 inch per day. Pears now 1.0-1.3 inch in diameter, grew 0.1 inch in 7 days.
