Temperatures averaged 72.0 degrees, +3.4 above normal for the period.  

Soil temperatures, for the period, at 2” have averaged 66.1 degrees, 4” average is 67.3 degrees, 8” average is 68.0 degrees and 20” average is 65.0 degrees. +2.6 overall increase, on average, from the previous period. 

A warm and wet week to improve the short term soil moisture. The soil moisture improved from 200 cb to 71 cb at that 8” depth. 

Lawns have greened back up with the rains the past few weeks. Peonies are past peak with day lilies starting to bloom and summer hibiscus starting to grow. 

Bird activity has slowed a bit with Starlings, Robins, Grackles, Sparrows and Cardinals. Squirrels, chipmunks and rabbits are out and feeding on grass and seed overspill from bird feeder.
