We continue in a multi month drought afer
some relief in May. We have had 0.03” of rain so far this month, nearly an inch below normal, on average (3% of avg). We have received 5.91” year to date, 64% of avg. 7.39” water year to date, 61% of avg.
Yards which are following watering restrictions look dry. Wild lands have much fewer flowers and less vegetation growth than normal. Springs in the foothills are dry. In addition, temperatures have been quite high. I am concerned about fire, but at least in the grasslands, there hasn’t been abundant growth to fuel them.
