Over the past week, we received 56.2mm of much needed rain, in the form of severe t-storms. Lower Black Sturgeon Lake level remained steady over the past week. Forest fire hazard remains rated as moderate. Temperatures have cooled, and lawns and gardens have responded to the rain. Vigorous new growth seen on conifers. Weekend weather was wet and windy, so lake activity was pretty quiet. Mosquitos are out in full force. Overall conditions have improved.
