Early week rain and spotty showers were welcomed to relieve some of the heat and humidity which prevailed throughout the week.  Large flowering potted plants need watering twice daily, and drip irrigation is needed on established plants.  Wind-driven rain on Friday afternoon blew potted plants over with little damage to the pots or plants.  And there was not any flooding.  It’s hot and humid!
