An active weather pattern developed this week with multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms occurring. Our seven day storm total precipitation for this week is 4.26" inches, and based on the forecast from the National Weather Service additional rain and thunderstorms are forecast later tonight and into Sunday. This additional rainfall will certainly be beneficial to hopefully getting rid of this pesky drought across our area. Next, our soil conditions at this time are very moist and this has lead to our grasses returning to more of a green color as opposed to the mixture of green and brown grasses I reported last week. Also our trees remain healthy, however we did not get any Pears growing on our Kieffer Pear tree this year. Lastly, area wildlife have been active with multiple sightings of various different bird species, along with various different insect species too.
