Over the last two weeks precipitation has increased. After one of the larger storms, low lands had enough standing water which resulted by taking one to two days to drain. To As of Friday evening there are scattered fields that still have standing water. The foot bridge depth reading in the Minnesota River, at Granite Falls is seven and one half feet. Nearby lakes in the area have risen by an estimated 2 inches. Crops are in excellent condition. Recreational activities are in full swing with no impairments.
