We are still cleaning up fallen limbs from this week's storms. Roofers replaced shingles that were blown off and their truck tires left indentations across yard. Ground is damp. We heard spring frogs from the pond which now has water again. The lower pasture is still flooded and creek is running. Garden and yard really show growth after 4.37" of rain this week. Picked black raspberries for second time this season. Saw mother deer and her twins fawns and twin yearlings. They move elsewhere when the creek/pond dry up. Foxes relaxing on big bales placed in treeline. They seem to watch the deer. The alfalfa is looking good after the rains. We were without power for around two hours while electric company turned off power to do storm repair work.
