Our soil conditions are drying out and some surface cracking is visible. It has been 9 days since our last rainfall. Temperatures are rising as we enter summer and mammal activity has diminished during the day. Birds are very active in the morning and early evening searching for food and nest materials. Grasses, bushes and vegetation are still growing quite well.
