For the week 5/31 - 6/6 2026 ----- EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES at Data collection: Aurora: 41, 48, 44, 44, 55, 65, 60 & Kingsford : 40, 44, 44, 44, 55, 63, 58 ----- WATER CONTENT IN THE GAUGE: from Thursday 6/4 and Friday 6/5 which are: .03 + .45 Aurora & .03 +.46 Kingsford ----- SNOWFALL- Aurora and Kingsford : nothing no snow -----MENOMINEE RIVER: Water levels all week at the normal summer water flow height and really got low by the end of this week. River still at good height and still average even after yesterday's passing rain showers ----- US Drought Monitor has changed and half of Florence County WI is seeing mild drought conditions but eastern half and all of the U.P. is still in normal range with no drought-----Natural Wildfire risk is low after the rains Thursday and Friday as we had no rain last week ----- Flowering Plants drying up even watering them in the evening that were in the midday and afternoon sun with the low to mid 80 temps and no rain for over a week ----- haven't seen many farm tractors or farm machinery this week. Logging trucks still moving wood and construction and HVAC still busy ----Tourism is starting as more RVs are driving passed and the boats this year have increased in passing by.
