Description:
(This report covers the last two weeks again - this time because I was in beautiful BC, Canada. It also sums up the month of May.) 2.27” plus two days of T is the rain total for this reporting period. ~1.67” of Evapotranspiration. Temps were seasonal - morning lows in 60s and 70s, afternoon highs generally in the 80s and creeping in to the low 90s. Several days with Heat Index over 100 degrees. Several days with Air Quality Alert due to ozone pollution. Total rain for month of May was 4.10” spread over ten days. Total ETo was 4.24”. Temp range from 51 - 93 degrees F. Plants and wildlife all doing well. No supplemental watering needed. Birds, bees, butterflies all quite active. Neighbor’s pond is still full. (I don’t have a lot of details since I was gone for most of this period.) Story for these two weeks - closing out Spring - Summer is here now.
